The Challenge
Baseball Factory has helped more than 75,000 student athletes earn more than $1B in scholarships over the past 23 years. Their system of player development established them as a national leader working with high school athletes and their parents. However, their marketing machine was largely ad-hoc and driven by what “seems to be working”, and business stalled as the market became more competitive. A creative brand built in the late 90’s had to be refreshed, and the marketing machine needed to become more efficient.
The solution
ORANGEHAT created an entirely new brand identity system designed to put the player front and center. The use of more modern fonts, graphics and layouts helped break factory out of their doldrums and led to an immediate lift in sales. Furthermore, the brand was extended to apply to all marketing materials company-wide, bringing a strong sense of continuity across the organization.
